XAUUSD and Broker Compatibility
XM Trading (Most Recommended)
On XM, Gold trades under the symbol "GOLD" — not "XAUUSD". When attaching an EA, make sure to use the GOLD chart. Spreads are typically 2–4 pips.
HFM
On HFM, Gold trades under "XAUUSD". Spreads are approximately 1–3 pips — lower than XM.
Exness
On Exness, Gold trades under "XAUUSD". Spreads are 0.6–2 pips — among the tightest in the industry, making it especially effective for scalping EAs.
Important: When using an EA on XM Trading, always attach it to the "GOLD" chart (not "XAUUSD"). Attaching to the wrong symbol will prevent the EA from functioning.
