Before You Compare: What the Numbers Mean
The figures below are the values listed on each EA's page. Test periods and data sources differ by EA (for example 7.7 years on Exness data for GOLD VIPER, 22.5 years for GOLD NEURON), so treat them as reference points rather than a like-for-like ranking.
One important note for XM users: XM lists gold as GOLD, not XAUUSD. If you attach an EA to a chart named XAUUSD on XM, it will not trade. Always verify the exact symbol name on your broker's platform before running any EA.
We evaluate EAs by three primary metrics:

Final Thoughts
The best XAUUSD EA for you depends on how much drawdown you can tolerate and how often you want the EA to trade.
