Recommended Account Types
Cent Account (for beginners)
- Contract size: 1 lot = 1,000 units (1/100 of a standard lot)
- Spread: Variable
- Minimum deposit: $0

If this is your first time running an EA on a live account, the Cent account lets you verify EA behavior with real money at minimal risk.
Premium Account (general use)

Step 1: Open an HFM Account
- Visit the HFM official site and click "Get Started"
- Enter your email address and create an account
- Fill in your personal details: full name (in Roman letters), date of birth, address
- Country of residence: select your country
- Choose an account type (Premium MT5 recommended)
- Base currency: USD recommended
- Leverage: 1000x (use 200x if you prefer a more conservative approach)
- Upload identity verification documents:
- Passport or driver's license (with photo)
- Proof of address (utility bill, bank statement, etc.)
Identity verification usually takes 1–2 business days.
All fxea365 EAs are free to download. You register a live MT5 account opened through this site's links (they don't run on demo accounts). Paid versions are sold on the MQL5 Market.
Step 2: Download and Log In to MT5
- Log in to your HFM member area (MyHFM)
- Download and install MT5 from the "Download MT5" section
- Open MT5 → go to "File" → "Login to Trade Account"
- Search for "HFM" or "HotForex" in the server list
- Select the server shown (e.g.,
HFMarketsEurope-Live 5) - Enter your login ID and password
Your server name and login ID are included in the account confirmation email from HFM.
Step 3: Obtain and Install an EA
- Go to the fxea365 registration page and enter your HFM account number to register
- Download an EA from the dashboard (a zip containing
.ex5) - Open the MT5 data folder: go to "File" → "Open Data Folder"
- Unzip it and copy the
.ex5file into theMQL5 > Expertsfolder - In the Navigator, right-click "Expert Advisors" → "Refresh" (an
.ex5file needs no compiling)

Step 4: Attach the EA to a Chart
- Open a chart for the pair you want to trade (e.g., XAUUSD H1)
- Drag the EA from the Navigator panel onto the chart
- Under the "Common" tab, check "Allow Automated Trading" → click OK
- Confirm the "AutoTrading" button on the MT5 toolbar is green (enabled)
- If the EA name and a smiley face icon appear in the top-right corner of the chart, the EA is running
HFM-Specific Notes
Gold Symbol Name
On HFM, gold is listed as "XAUUSD" — not "GOLD" as used on XM. Make sure to attach your EA to the XAUUSD chart.
Excessive Trading for Bonus Purposes Is Prohibited
HFM restricts bonus withdrawals until trading volume requirements are met. We do not recommend taking on excessive risk just to unlock your bonus faster. The best approach is to run the EA at its default lot settings steadily over time.
Pay Attention to MT5 Server Selection
