VPS is not required
A VPS is not required for EA operation. If you keep your PC running at all times, you can run MT5 EAs 24 hours a day from a home Windows PC. However, if the PC loses power, the EA stops. A VPS is recommended for those who travel frequently or need stable 24-hour operation.

🔍 Cách kiểm tra bộ nhớ trống VPS
Bộ nhớ không đủ là nguyên nhân chính EA dừng hoạt động. Kiểm tra thường xuyên trong Task Manager.
Bước 1: Mở Task Manager
- Ctrl + Shift + Esc để mở trực tiếp
- Hoặc Ctrl + Alt + Del
- Hoặc nhấp chuột phải vào thanh tác vụ → Task Manager
Bước 2: Nhấp vào tab «Hiệu suất»
Chọn «Bộ nhớ» từ menu bên trái → Mức sử dụng hiện tại và không gian trống hiển thị trong biểu đồ
Bước 3: Tiêu chí đánh giá

Choose Windows Server as the OS
MT5 is Windows-only software. Always choose Windows Server as the VPS OS. It does not work on Linux plans.
Minimum plan specs are sufficient
2 cores/2GB memory is sufficient for running 1-3 MT5 instances. For 10+ EAs, 4GB+ memory is recommended.
Choose a domestic data center
Even if your broker's servers are overseas, connecting from a domestic VPS may provide more stable ping (latency). We recommend choosing a VPS with a domestic data center.
