⚠ Honest disclosure (please read)
- ★ Validated on Dukascopy price data with a faithful Python COMET replica. Solana is not tradeable in any broker's Strategy Tester, so an MT5 real-tick report is not yet available (a separate data-download step is required).
- ★ High variance: the edge concentrates in trending/volatile SOL regimes (2021-2023). 2024-2025 were ~flat. It does not profit when SOL is rangebound. Use risk capital only.
- Same engine as Bitcoin COMET (8yr real MT5 PF2.77). SOL's liquidity/volatility differ from BTC, so equivalent robustness is not guaranteed.

How it works
Applies the same Donchian trend-following mechanism as Bitcoin COMET to SOLUSD H4. Buy when the closed bar breaks above the N-bar Donchian high (with SMA200 slope up and not over-extended), sell on a break below the low. Each entry carries a hard SL (ATR multiple); an ATR trailing stop rides winners. No grid, no martingale, no averaging — one position at a time. Because SOL's 2022 crash was large, both directions (long + short) are required (long-only gives far less).

* 2026 to May. As 2024-2025 were ~flat, this EA does not profit when SOL is rangebound / low-volatility. That is the nature of trend-following: strong when trends appear, idle otherwise.
Where it struggles / key risks
- Rangebound / low-vol SOL (e.g. 2024-2025): no profit, small losses accumulate.
- SOL gaps and spikes hard; a single trade's drawdown can be large.
- No MT5 real-tick report yet (SOL not tradeable in broker testers). Figures are from Dukascopy data.
