VPS is not required
A VPS is not required for EA operation. If you keep your PC running at all times, you can run MT5 EAs 24 hours a day from a home Windows PC. However, if the PC loses power, the EA stops. A VPS is recommended for those who travel frequently or need stable 24-hour operation.

🔍 VPSのメモリ空き容量を確認する方法
VPS稼働中、メモリ不足はEA停止の主因です。タスクマネージャーで定期的にチェックしてください。
Step 1: タスクマネージャーを開く
- Ctrl + Shift + Esc キーで直接起動
- または Ctrl + Alt + Del →「タスクマネージャー」
- または タスクバー右クリック →「タスクマネージャー」
Step 2: 「パフォーマンス」タブをクリック
左サイドメニューから「メモリ」を選択 → 現在の使用量・空き容量がグラフで表示
Step 3: 判定基準
- ✅ 空き 1GB以上 → 本EA 安全稼働可能
- ⚠️ 空き 500MB〜1GB → 動作するが他のソフトを止めるのを推奨
- ❌ 空き 500MB未満 → 上位プランへ変更を検討

VPS Selection Tips
Choose Windows Server as the OS
MT5 is Windows-only software. Always choose Windows Server as the VPS OS. It does not work on Linux plans.
Minimum plan specs are sufficient
2 cores/2GB memory is sufficient for running 1-3 MT5 instances. For 10+ EAs, 4GB+ memory is recommended.
Choose a domestic data center
Even if your broker's servers are overseas, connecting from a domestic VPS may provide more stable ping (latency). We recommend choosing a VPS with a domestic data center.
